Hi Amy,

We care about you and hope you'll post soon.  I love circle word puzzles and I love Scrabble although I'm the one who can only come up with two and three letter words and I'm notorious for adding prefixes and suffixes to other people's geniously long words - ha ha.

Your friend,

Hello Amy

Welcome to program and support group.   I am a little obsessed with words myself.  I keep a dictionary within reach most of the time.  Just love learning new words and increasing my vocabulary.....  See you on the forums....

Hi Amy,

Welcome to the site! Both the program and the support forums are amazingly helpful. The boldness in the title of your post tells me you're off to a good start - you want to get better! That's a big first step. I have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go, others here are recovered, and others are just starting out. We're all great virtual friends for each other here.

Feel free to post anytime whether it's to vent, ask questions, or anything else. Someone is sure to respond.

I love all types of games too - a good distraction from anxiety, which is sometimes much-needed!

Best,
Teebs

Thanks for the welcome. I hadn't meant to be pushing any lines with my name! I'm just a Scrabble and book fanatic! *laughs* Ah well.

Hello Amy

Sorry but I won't use your Nic. My choice, not the sites. Welcome and I hope we and the site can help you.

Hello,

Be sure to work through the program. Once you have completed session 1, you can move through the sessions as you wish. Some might be more useful to you at this point and others may become more useful down the road. The program is a great way to learn more about the underlying causes of panic and anxiety.

Members, how did you get started on working towards your goals?

Hi Amy:  I just noticed the site directors put the asterisks for the second part of your name.  Guess we can't use it.

Hi Word*****:  I had to read your name twice to make sure I got it right.  lol  Welcome to the forum.  I hope you study this CBT program.  Research has shown it is the best for anxiety disorders.  Post any time, any subject.  Read the past posts too.  They may give you some idea about what's happening and also be very inspirational.  Hope to hear from you again.
p.s. you are among the living, many people live with anxiety/stress disorders.

I developed panic disorder after getting the birth control shot in 2002 but only recently acquired the agoraphobia bit. It's a major drag as I'm sure most of you can attest and after taking a good six months to mope about the new state of my brain, I'm ready to fight back and join the living. I really appreciate that this site exists. So many of the online panic resources are exorbitantly priced and I'm just a college student (online classes) living off her student loans. I'm a major geek into all kinds of games: board, card, video, and tabletop. I love virtual friends if these sorts of things appeal to anyone here.
