Matt

I want to see how you are tomorrow also, please let us know. Try to make positive what ifs out of those negative ones. There really are positive what ifs. Will your wife keep in contact? A holiday overseas. Wow, something I've never done!

Here for you,
Davit.

My wife has just left for a month's holidays overseas.  It's the once-in-a-lifetime trip with her mum and sister.

This last week leading up to departure has been very difficult for me.  Panic, anxiety, fear.

When I have to fly somewhere I have several weeks lead-up like this but it goes once I'm safely back home.  This time it's different.  My mind and body is still tense and nervous.  It's the negative thoughts that get me - "How will I cope" "What if something happens"  "what if I can't function for the whole month?".  Several of my friends including the guy who lives in a flat below knows about my anxiety and panic.  I remind myself they care for me but it doesn't seem to be enough.

I'm on week two of this program.  The homework this week is to document these negative thoughts and examine them.  I feel so anxious.

That's where I am today.  be interesting to see how I feel tomorrow.
Matt
