Hello there everybody.

Thank you very much for the reassurance.

I'm going to push for surgery to remove an ovary (which is causing my hormonal instability) considering that the drugs I'm on to suppress my androgen level carry so many side effects, including gastrointestinal issues, anxiety and 'generally feeling unwell' (a symptom listed on their website.)

If the National Health Service sees what I've gone through as reason enough to put me through surgery, then I'm sure a lot of these issues will disappear far sooner. (Also to help me from having a needle as thick as a pencil lead stuck in my poor butt muscle every 10 weeks :( )

Hi Brittany,

The symptoms you mention are all common anxiety symptoms and with a thrown off sleep schedule it makes sense why they would be popping up now.  However, I am not a doctor and if you are concerned about your symptoms it is best to talk to a doctor to be sure.

Had a bit of a weird time recently.

For the last few days I've had an abnormal heart beat, heart burn, random chest pains.. although to be honest, it's possibly a product of my messed up sleep pattern. (But I managed to wake at 6am today which was nice.)

My issue is that I don't know if any of it is down to medical disorders. It's freaking me out, I'm getting anxious. Very, very anxious.

Hi  Brittany.

Wow! At your age I had symptoms but didn't find this kind of help and I think you are going to find a lot of relief by following this program. I have been here about a month, and suffered anxiety for years without relief except distraction and avoidance. I think it is great you found this site and have started posting here. Post as much as you like here, the people here are really helpful.

I am going to eat some chocolate now because your story got me craving a bit of it!

Welcome!

We want to hear from you no matter where you post, we will find you. Glad you had a good day.
Remember that even if you relapse we want to hear about it. This is how group therapy works.

Had a great day. Was feeling really quite great. No issues all throughout the day. Just now though I've experienced a small bit of anxiety going through my body and a bit of a tight chest, but no issues other than that.

Should probably move away towards a more appropriate area of the forum next time I update. Hehe.

Hi Brittany:  This is very interesting.  If it happens again and you eat some chocolate and feel relief that's exciting discovery.  Wonder if the doctor would know which ingredient in the chocolate helps.  Chocolate has caffeine and antioxidants but it helped so quickly.  I wonder which specific thing helped and how does it help, it would be valuable info. Glad you were feeling better.

I know calcium deficiency can be a problem but was not aware of chocolate. Interesting.

Here for you,
Davit.

I'm really appreciating all the support that I've been given already, thank you very much to everyone who has replied to me. It's been somewhat of an odd day. I had a bit of a negative beginning, feeling too much cramping, I felt negative and something was just 'wrong'. I was talking to my mother, and was becoming ridiculously agitated, and constantly acting exasperated towards her attempts at communicating with me. It's certainly not PMS related, although at the same time, I believe it is hormonal related, perhaps my body is really taking a blow due to the sudden "Holy crap where did the testosterone I survived on for so many years go?!" effect brought on by this highly-potent drug.

So I was literally at a loss of what to do. My body was cramping, feeling painful, I was lethargic, angry, distressed, and depressed.

Had some food. And felt better despite the physical pain and the general down-low feeling remaining around.

Then I found the most amazing, most ridiculous thing to have ever happened to me so far in this. I had a yummy bar of chocolate. Dairy Milk. The moment it hit my stomach, my whole body came into tune. My acheing lifted, a smile grew across my face again, the lethargy died out. And amazingly, past all that, I haven't had a nightly episode of panic and anxiety attack happening.

How about that? All that worry and pain, to find out that a little bit of chocolate helped me out.

I suppose that all this is a chemical imbalance, and the issues will soon disappear as I travel forther into my treatment for my issues. I will stick around, to give updates, and to take advice. I really appreciate the support I've already been offered. :)
