I can understand how someone can not like summer. It is a lot of work unless you live in an apartment. And even at that, without air conditioning it could be a pain. I've had to learn to let go of a few things, and it has been good for the anxiety.
I'm spending more time relaxing in my Garden than weeding. If it gets too bad I will hire someone. I down scaled, it is smaller, but I think maybe still too large. There is something about playing in the dirt that little boys never grow out of. Our toys just get more expensive.
So far my summer has been pretty mellow. I think I am making some progress slowly but surely. One thing I have noticed is that I can now relax my mind enough to do some recreational reading. This is something I have not been able to do in a very long time. The only problem is the book I chose is a thriller called The Panic Zone, lol lol and I did have nightmares after reading it a couple of nights ago and woke up in a panic. I am going to finish reading it though because I am enjoying this book.
To make a long story short this summer is different than past summers. This summer I am learning to let myself relax which is making it easier for me to focus on reading and maybe some sewing etc. etc.
