Hi Red, I'm sorry sometimes you feel invisible I am sure that is not the intention of other members.  Sometimes starting threads is a great way to get some attention .  I will be sure to post in it!  I am glad you are feeling a little better physically.  I love also how you are making exercise a priority.  It will really help!

Hi Red,

I feel the same way. As the day progresses I feel a whole lot better, but mornings are killing me. I am listening to my music at work and trying to stop the shakes. I had a yogurt hoping it was just hunger but that did not seem to help. I made it through 2 1/2 hours so I can do the rest  :)

Walking is relaxing, especially if it is a nice day, taking in all the flowers and nice smells of summer. It has been muggy here so we have not been walking but I have been going down to the cellar to ride the exercise bike even if it is for only a couple minutes. I do it once in the morning and once at night. Tomorrow it is supposed to be nice so we may resume our walks

Ashley,
Thanks for asking and showing a interest.  I do feel alone here in the group most of the time. Like the invisible woman.
My neck and back is getting better.  I think will stick with the walk for while.  I may have to rest again today.  I think the exercise helps with the anxiety and depression which in turn helps me relax.  I am sure it will be more relaxing as I get in better shape and don't have to work at it so hard.  This morning I am a little anxious and down. It should get better as the day progress. Talk to you later.

Red,

I hope your back is feeling a bit better today.  Have you found exercising has been helping with relaxation at all?

Mammakim,

Have a wonderful 21st anniversary!  Any special plans? Enjoy yourself and let us know how it goes!

Mornings are rough for some reason. I hope that fades in time. I still wake up with the shakes and not wanting to go to work. By afternoon I am usually OK but I can't stand it. It is going to be hot today too which doesn't help. At least the rest of the week will be in the 70's, something good to look forward to.

It will be a good day though, it is my 21st anniversary and hubby is so good to me  :)

mammakim,    I am glad you had a good night. It sounds like things are starting to settle down for you for the night. My son is 39 so I have not had to deal with teenagers for a long time now.  I have not forgotten how trying it can be though.  As for the stairs I wouldn't make it up 3 flights either.  I am just staring to exercise since I quit smoking.  I over did it yesterday in the pool with the aerobic class.  My spine can't take all the jumping up and down.  I have osteoarthritis in my spine and had a back surgery 21 years ago.  To many years of physical labor.  Thank God I am retired now.  I couldn't exercise today I was in to much pain.  I will be doing my own work out in the pool from now on.  I learned it from the Arthritis foundation it is totally non impact that means no jumping up and down of any kind.  Anyway I have to sign off for now and rest.  Have a good night.

I actually had a decent night. I stopped at my brothers to visit for about a half hour there. I did argue with the 14 year old, he wanted to sleep over someones house that I do not know the parents so I nixed that idea and he was not too happy but I did not want to be up all night worrying about him. The middle child is still out but so far I am calm about it. I told him not to be too late. Hubby left for work and Samantha and her boyfriend are here along with my youngest. He doesn't seem so angry anymore.

I was actually dizzy getting into the elevator the first time but I went up and down a couple times. My friend took the stairs but I am way too out of shape and would be crawling up them by the third floor.

Hello mammakin,

Great work at challenging your anxious and negative thoughts and getting on the elevator. You are making progress and moving forward.  You turned a negative into a positive.  This takes courage.  You should be proud and reward yourself in some way.  Hot bath or shower/ new magazine etc. etc. you get he idea. Something that  makes you feel good.

I am interested in anything to make me feel better. I did get on the elevator at 11 and decided that if we did get stuck I guess we would just chat until we were saved.
