thanks Anerol: I knew that, but I had forgotten to save the pic original size, then had to work with what had already been sized, then I tried a few times with different %s, then thought, oh what the heck, and quit. lol. Pls. go ahead and post another painting, drawing. I luv 'em.

You can change the size of your photo on paint if you go to 'image' at the top.

select 'stretch/skew'

enter the percentage of about how much you want to adjust it. (ex. half smaller = 50%, half bigger =100%.. altho if you make it bigger it might get pixelated.) and you gotta put the same percent for horizontal and vertical or else it will get oblique

Anerol: photo taken at Christmas - I actually used your explanation of the method with dotted box, etc. it worked! thanks, however, the photo was larger than I wanted but...didn't want to bother changing it all.
