Hi Lance:  Just had to write - when I read that you feel overwhelmed sometimes.  That's exactly what happens to me when I have too much to do - so I write a list of all the things that need doing (appts., phone calls, meetings, cleaning, whatever) then as I do them, I strike them off the list.  At the end of the day - end of the week too - I see all that I did accomplish and I feel much better.  It helps me keep sane, and on target.  It helps me not forget things that I have to do, so now I don't feel as anxious that I might forget because they are written down.  I think it's a good idea also to set one goal at a time, one day at a time.  Little steps first, but that's o.k. they'll give you confidence to go on to more than one thing per day, and not get overtired as you meet each goal.  hope this helps...

Hi Lance,

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling stuck today. You might want to try writing a list of things that you need to do, prioritize them if you have to. This way you can focus your energy on one thing at a time instead of looking at the big picture and getting overwhelmed.

Hi Lance,
I know it can be hard when you feel overwhelmed, but try not to get too frustrated.  I have seen that you have made progress in the past weeks from your posts and I know you can keep doing it!  Would it help to make a daily goal each day?  Then you might have something to focus on to keep making the improvements you have been making.  Also, don't forget to take a few minutes to think about the successes you've had recently and how far you've come.  Sometimes we can all be hard on ourselves.  Keep posting!
