Hello Lee,

Welcome to our wonderful support community. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you.

Working through the program and sessions is strongly recommended.  The exercises will help you to better understand the nature of the panic attacks and anxiety you are experiencing. As well, CBT is a very effective form of therapy which requires some work but is very rewarding as you keep learning and progressing.

Depending on the area where you live, there may be free government programs that offer therapy or support groups you can attend. Check with your local community listings.

Keep us posted on how you are doing and good luck!

Hi,

I have been suffering from panic attacks since 2006.  It got so bad that I quit my job and couldn't even go to the store.  I have been trying to work thru my anxiety and force my self to do the things that make me uncomfortable , like shopping going to church, driving etc.  I have found a job working from home, but would like to get to the point where I can begin working out side of the home again.  I do not go for Therapy can't afford it and don't want meds, tried them and don't like how it makes me feel. I am hoping that I can get some help with following the program and want to know if there are any organizations that offer free therapy for panic disorder
