How to do Exposure?

pmk0528,

Welcome to our wonderful support community. You have come to a great place.
I assume that you have already begun to read through the program, which is great! Please also explore the tools and resources that are available to you through this site. We are here to help and support you in whatever you need.
In terms of exposure therapy, what is it exactly that makes you nervous about travelling away from home? Is it the actual travelling (taking a bus, driving for long periods of time, getting lost) is it a fear of being away from home (worried about your home, or friends or family) or is it something else? Perhaps if you are able to narrow your fears/worries down, it will help in creating a weekly exposure therapy plan.
Members, do you have any suggestions?
Hang in there, and please keep us posted on how you are doing

My main source of panic attacks occur when I have to travel away from home (meaning to another state).  I can't simply do this on a weekly basis due to time and financial concerns.  What can I do for exposure therapy weekly to begin to work on this?
