Hi CD, tomorrow i'm going to do the same thing, but stay longer at the library, and instead of sitting outside and going in then out and in, I plan on just staying in and reading some magazines.  I might bring a snack and have that outside in the shade, then go back in for a while.  I'll do the bus ride home again as well. Thanks for your support:)

Hi everyone, I walked around this big block then came home, then I felt bored.  So I saw my neighbour and her son going off to the library.  I thought maybe I should attempt it.  So I did, It was about a 15 -20 min walk, its not very far by car about 5 mins.  I got there and sat in the shade under a tree for a while.  Then I thought I should sign up, so I stood outside, debating to go in as it was busy.  Then a lady was free, so I just marched in and up to her and said i'd like to join the library.
She signed me up.  I went back out and in again, in little waves so it wasnt overwhelming, I went to the washroom and wondered around.  Then I caught the bus home.  Its also about 5 mins ride, but still i was a bit nervous, I was hanging on for dear life, but I was the only one on the bus (other than the driver) and he was chatting with me.  I felt a bit lightheaded, but I am also hungry.  So now i'm home. :)

Minnesota,

Great goal!

Do be sure to look through the sample exposure plans under the Session Tools tab. There is one for this particular fear.

HI, There is a quilt course I want to do in about 2 weeks. My hubby said if I work on taking the bus to the coffee shop, he will pay for it.  So tomorrow i'm going to start, i'm going to start walking to the stop gradually and trying to push through the fear to get on the bus.
