Lol love the hold you head high like you have lumpthroat lign! LOL! Really, litterally laughed out loud. Lucky my hubby is sleeping as I would sound slightly nuts! HAHAHa!

Wow I really love your reply. I had not realized that. I really am not so anxious about it and am not beating myself over the head and making myself feel guilty like I would have before. Now that I see that it feels great to see yet another progress in my life! I am dealing well with this compared to before so am glad youpointed it out! Thanks so much!

Hi guys, thanks for the support and the encouragement. Been sick and so had to miss my classes up to now this week  But I will catch up. I did do the hoemwork I did have though so at least I am ready for my other classes. I am going to have to miss another class for a doctor's appointment but considering I have been waiting to see my doctor since last June, no way I am cancelling. I will let you know how my school goes further along the week!

Btw, Jhori, feel free to call me Doc, I find that "pet names" are a sign of friendship as such I really do not mind them at all .

Sanduru,
Have you tried the Messenger? If you add me to friends you can send me offline messages on it. If I know you are gonna send me some I will check to see if you have :) So if you do decide to use that way please let me know I will be sure to check!

As for us getting what the other feels I think that is true and would love to exchange ideas and such with you!

Faith, thank you for your encouragement it means a lot to me! And the nap was great !

Breanne thank you as always for your lovely reply! I think all of you running this forum are great!

Miki,

I find that opening up to the right people really helps. I must admit that I do pick and choose who I trust though. For me it is a question of instincts. I tend to be pretty accurtate too lol. If I feel someone won't understand I don't say anything but if I feel they will I do and usually am right :) Anyway, thank you for your support it means a lot!!!

Diva,

I just saw you posted in my thread.. thank you! I feel like we really understand where each of us is coming from. Maybe we could exchange emails or some sort of contact info? I tried to find some sort of private messaging thing on here but I couldn't. Its always good to have someone to talk to that understands after a tough day.

Diva,

I'm very proud of you. Have you seen my thread about starting school? I felt much like you did, and there are a ton of kind words on there.

Great job on getting through the day, each day gets a little bit easier.

Congrats, Doc!  You know, reading your day made me realize something I learned when I was a kid that used to help.  Sometimes things aren't as bad as we make them out to be.  Of course we've seen this on the board time and time again, but reading yours made that little point hit home.  Thank YOU for that Doc!  (hope you don't mind me calling you that)

Wow, that was so exciting to read! I'm so glad you had such an accomplishing day! You deserve yourself a nap. I think that is really nice of your teacher and fellow classmates too... it makes me think it's worth it to open up. Maybe I will tell my teachers also.

Wow! Good for you and I'm so glad the teacher / students seem so nice and understanding!

Congratulations, and good on you for deciding to take a nap - you deserve the rest after doing all that on only 2 hours of sleep!!

Hi guys.

Thank you so much for your support!

I got up at 7 am...I find it is a very bad hour to be up at. Especially since I did not find sleep till 5 am... I am now exhausted and nearly incapable of proper thought. So right now I am having a little down and I am missing my cat and I am a bit more anxious...

BUT...

My morning went really well! The class in itself in and introduction class so it will be a lot of work (a lot of stuff to cover) and not necessarily interesting (most introduction classes are not) except for one unforseen factor....the human factor. The other students in the class are really nice. They took the time to say hi and shake my hand and smile at me and even say bye after class.Well not all of them but a good number of them!  One of them was actually nice enough to show me around a bit on his break.

On top of it the teacher is great and she is such a sweetheart. I think she will be tough on grading but she is very interesting and nice. During class, stress hit me, or more like it hit my intestine (I know tomuch info...). I was trying to weather it but once my heart was pounding and I was sweating from cramps (yes again too much info lol) I got up and made a little head signal her way and she smiled so I left class for a bit. When I came back she just smiled at me. I went to see her after class and I tols her that sometimes due to fatigue or stress I get stress related discomfort and that I might need to excuse myself for a few minutes then come back. She said it was fine and if ever I don't want to miss the class but need to move from my seat I can go pace at the back of the class or even sit on the floor at the end of the back row! Now how open minded is that! I was thinking wow! So that is my first class! I already have all my books bought and I think I will do well.

Then, once class was finished and I had my student ID card done and all my books for that class, I went and took the bus home! More like the buses as I have to transfer. And I did well!

Then I went for a nice 30 minute walk to unwind once I got home.

Now I am exhausted. I will take a short night and hope I can still sleep tonight lol. I know I should stay awake to sleep well tonight but I am seeing double and am feeling anxious and sad for no reason whoch is usually my cue to nap...

So off I go! Thanks guys, when I think of the differences having you guys here makes in my life, I am just so thankful and grateful to you all. So thank you to all the lovely moderators and thanks you to all my friends from the Center.
