Negative Core Beliefs VI

15 years ago 0 341 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I would like others to be more tolerant and not get angry and hateful too quickly
I would like more manners in this world, instead of letting the door swing in someones face, hold it and say thank you,.
I like to believe that people are good inside, deep down, that they care or love, even if they dont come accross like they do.  Some people in order to fit in do stupid things, its always nice to find the caring side to a person.
I might be more relaxed, and eager to spend time with that person.
Of course as the Miss Worlds say "world peace" but  I just think if everyone didnt hate as much and had more patience.
I just find people in general have lost what the older generation had.  People dressed up to go places, they were mannered, they didnt have cell phones ringing all the time. I think the youth of today scare me.  If i'm riding my bike and I see some teenagers standing talking I get nervous and will go around.
I am sure some of them are very nice, but some are so rough and pretend to be tough.

Members,

Now that you’ve kept track of your negative core beliefs, try exploring your negative core beliefs about others & the world:

Questions about the World and Other People

1. How would you like other people to be?

2. How would you like other people to act?

3. What would you like to believe about other people?

4. How would you be acting differently if you believed that about other people?

5. What would you like the world to be like?

6. How would you be acting differently if you believed that about the world?

Thoughts?
