Did You Know?

I'm reminded of a religious education teacher at school who once told the class he woke up ever morning, looked in the mirror and told himself that he loved himself.
Everyone laughed.  But boy did that man seem happy and rich with life.

It would be an incredible thing to be able to 'love' yourself.  I'm not even sure I comprehend what would go in to feeling that.

I'm just happy not being disgusted and disappointed with myself.

We live in a world obsessed with the unreachable or downright stupid.  "I will be happy when I have x amount of money in the bank", "I will love myself when i weight X".  It's ridiculous.

As you fall in love with yourself, you naturally get healthier. All the do’s and don’ts of health education can only build a house of straw unless love is the foundation. When you see love in operation in a relationship, you see trust, acceptance of the uniqueness of each person, understanding of differences, and forgiveness of failing.
