madara, Caffeine can interrupt your brain's ability to wind down. It is great to see that you are challenging these thoughts immediately. Try also using the Panic Diary and track your eating habits and daily functions. This can help pinpoint areas and triggers to work on. Hmm...wanted to ask you, does caffeine intensifies anxiety? Two days ago I drank 2 energy drinks and started to feel really strong inner pressure (anxiety). It almost lead me to a panic attack but I somehow got out of it (what I was telling to myself was :"OK, panic attack, you're welcome, come and kill me and I will never feel any anxiety then"(pessimistic, but it worked). When I allow my panic to kill me, it stops. I want to admit that I haven't had any panic attacks without any reason at least for a year and suddenly this anxiety two days ago... I don't know what to think. What do you think, was it energy drink?
