Lexapro seems to be making me worse.

Hi, this is my first post as well, but I have 3 years of experience with Lexapro under my belt, and I have started on it 3 times. Each time I experienced the worst panic attacks I had ever had. The first time I went on it my pdoc told me to expect this, and the first two times I was in close proximity to xanax which I dissolved under my tongue (works faster, tastes gross). Eventually it did go away and I was completely panic free no matter what I did. This pdoc told me to take a low dosage right after breakfast and that was supposed to help...but I noticed no difference.

This is my first post so, hi all. I started taking LEXAPRO Sat. morning. I had the worst panic attack ever that evening. So, I cut the dose in 1/2 and took it on Sun. I felt a little anxious in the morning and then in the afternoon and all evening I felt great... Better than I have felt in months. Then at 4:30 a.m. I woke up in a cold sweat fearful I was dying or something. I had to go Plow Snow so I ran out to get that done before I got any worse. I took 1/2 a xanax (.0125) before I left and I felt pretty good for about an hour. Then on the way home my chest got tight, I couldn't breath, and I felt nausious. I actually threw up in my truck. I have never thrown up from anxiety or panic before so that in itself was terifying. I made it home by he grace of God and layed on the couch and I was able to fall asleep for an hour. then I woke up and took my Lexapro (2mgs) it has been making me feel sick so I layed down in bed for a while. I got up and started to straighten up the house a little and then I just got slammed with terrible thoughts which threw me into another panic attack. I don't know if others out there like Lexapro or if it gets better or if this is a normal reaction. But, I sure would like to hear from you. I used to have 1-2 panic attacks a week. Since I took my 1st dose of Lexapro (2 1/2 days) I have had 4 attacks all of them were worse than any attack I ever had without the drug.... not good.
