Hi Rab, I have the same fear that you have. My heart has been checked over and it is fine but do I believe it.....NO of course not. I have a Hiatal hernia that can cause upper digestion problems including gas pains in the upper chest area so instead of thinking it is my hernia I assume it must be my heart. It is a constant challenge to remind myself that my heart is fine but I have to do it on a daily basis. That is the one thing I think I like most about this site that any fears we may have you will always be able to find others who go through it too. Work the program and over time you will see improvements I know I have. Good luck!!

Rabc, Welcome to our support community. Please take the time to look around and use all the useful information and tools to help guide you through. Our support group is amazing, as the members know what you are going through and can really make a difference. The program is designed to help you challenge your thoughts and progress forward. Take your time and work through slowly, reap the benefits it can provide. We are always available, so post often and let us know how we can help :) Josie, Support Specialist

Hi - I've just joined here - I've been living in Spain for the last 5 years, moved from UK - not in work - you'd think that everything would be great, but it isn't - suffering from daily panic/anxiety about health - feel like I'm going to die from a heart attack - although I have had a complete physical in the last six months, and am in reasonable shape I can't stop the thoughts from happening as every twinge or ache could be the start of an attack! I have got some tablets from the doctor which are helping, but I don't want to be on meds all of the time - so I'm going to give the CBT program a try. Rab.
