Dear members, If anyone is having trouble when trying to "launch" the CBT buddies, you may need to try the following: In addition to disabling your pop-up blocker, you also must set your security settings to the default level. To do so, follow these steps: * Open Internet Explorer web browser * Go to tools at the top of the screen * Go to internet options * Go to the security tab * Click on the icon that says default level How to Log Into the new CBT Buddies Instant Messenger: 1. Log into the Panic Center. 2. Go to the PC Support Group home page. 3. Click the word €œLaunch€ 4. Voila! You are logged in and ready to chat with other PC members who are logged in and have the Web-Based IM Open. How to Add Members: 1. Log into the PC. 2. Launch the CBT Quitting Buddies Instant Messenger. 3. Click €œAdd New Contact€ at the top of the screen. 4. A screen will pop up. Insert the nickname of the Buddy (their nickname is the name that they use in the Support Group) that you want to add to your contact list and click €œAdd€ 5. You can now begin chatting with your Buddy If anyone continues to experience difficulties, please contact us via the feedback section. What I find is if I think I won't have more then 5-10 minutes on the site I shy away from opening the CBT buddies thing because I would feel bad saying: Oh yeah hi! I only have five minutes though... And since I am on often but most likely in short spurts throughout the day (because of my schedule) I find myself opening the CBT buddies less and less... I will try to be on it more, but if I can only stay on a few minutes, do not take it personally please I just have funny schedules sometimes. But feel free to add me to buddies anyway. I agree that chatting more could be good for all of us here :) -Diva

Hi Everyone, Im pretty new to this forum. I've logged on several times myself and although at any given time there can be a few hundred people browsing, I never really see anyone logged in to chat. Perhaps a time can be set where people log in and meet? I propose anytime between 7 and 10pm eastern time? I dont know how else to arrange something like this, but it would be nice to talk you all. Any other ideas? Best Wishes.

If you own your own computer or laptop, maybe you can try and stay signed in to CBT buddies? :)

I have the same experience with no one ever being on I think setting up a time is a great ideal. once or twice a week. or every night but do it at the same time so everyone would know...Good Ideal Feel free to add me to your buddy list anyone.....
