NEED ADVICE PLEASE - PROBLEMS WITH HEAD/DIZZINESS

Hi guys, I also get the different symptoms, I have that at present. I am dizzy, my neck is sore & my back keeps getting sharp pains in the middle. My head feels really heavy & my eyes feel really tired, I have to believe that this is all anxiety - the minute I am busy doing something else it goes away - then it comes back! If something were very wrong with me wouldn't it be like it all the time? I am always told to go to the doctor & get it checked out, which I do (my Doctor has a very nice new car now) and I would advise you to do the same if it continues, but I am beginning to believe that our mind is playing with us, once we recognise a symptom & we start getting comfortable with knowing what it is - it sends us a new one! We cannot all be sick. We all think individually that the doctor may have missed something - we all have anxiety issues... Keep thinking positively, don't search for symptoms on the internet (I always do this & it leads me to the most horrid illnesses, which makes everything worse)and know that all you have to do is log in here & talk to us - it makes me feel soo much better everytime because someone is always going through what I am going through. You're in my thoughts, Toni

Thank you so much for your responses. You dont know what it feels like to know that I am not the only one with these symptoms. I dont know about anyone else, but my symptoms seem to change, for a while I will get a racing heart, then after a few weeks/months it will progress to something else. I feel like when I go to the doctors with a 'new' symptom, they just see that my notes mention panic/anxiety and that is it. It must be panic/anxiety. I am just scared that they are missing something. This feeling with my head is the most scariest of all my symptoms. I have noticed that the muscles on one side of my neck feel rock hard though. This site is so helpful and supportive - thank you to everyone for their support. It is very much appreciated. If anyone else feels this symptoms, please let me know, just for reassurance. If it persists though, I will definately go back to my doctor.

Hi Ann, I get this every single day & often. It scares me, I even seem to get it when I relax (like watching TV or reading a book) - which made me think it was not anxiety. If I go for a walk (even just to collect the kids from school) - I feel every step as though it is vibrating in my head. I can just start feeling like my head is spinning from the inside - I have had every test from the doctor, just to reassure yourself & I was healthy. Once you have seen your doctor your will at least know which direction to take because being scared always makes thing worse. I know this may not have helped - but I always feel better knowing that one of my symptoms is felt by somebody else (how bad is that!). I know this is awful, you have my support & thoughts.

Hi Ann! I know exactly how you feel! I get this feeling in my head like part of my brain jumps or something. Usually when there's a loud noise, or if I look from one distance to another really quick. I also get a buzzy feeling that goes across the inside of my skull. It'll just kind of shoot across real quick. It's seriously annoying! And always starts up the anxiety. I pretty much spend all day fighting off anxiety due to dizzy spells. I started getting really bad headaches every day for about a month and my head would just feel so heavy from it and I would get real dizzy and my eyes would be blurry. I finally went to go see a doctor about it and she ran a few blood tests. I found out that I have slight anemia and she now has me on iron supplements to try to build that back up. She said that was why I was getting dizzy, headaches, achy, blurry vision and was so tired all the time. I just started the iron yesterday so it hasn't made a huge difference yet, but I do feel a little bit of a difference all the same. Maybe you could go to a doctor and get tested for anemia. It's actually quite common. You should also be tested for thyroid and diabetes - just to be sure. Of course, the anxiety itself causes all these symptoms as well. It's so hard to say what it is - the anxiety or some physical problem. That's what makes this so frustrating! But, if you feel you need to, then go to a doctor and get some peace of mind. I went because I thought if it's physical, then at least I'll know - if it's nothing, then I'll know it's just anxiety. But, one way or the other, I'll have a better idea on what I'm dealing with. Hang in there! I know your symptoms are scary! You will get through this!

Hi ann, Fellow members will be responding soon, but please consider speaking with your doctor/health care provider. They will be able to assess your symptoms so that you can get some answers/reassurance as to what is causing this concern. Casey ______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hi folks, How is everybody? I am so stressed out at the moment and dont know what to do. I have a really scary symptom at the moment that I am hoping someone can help me with. I hold alot of tension in my neck, shoulders and have started having really strange sensations in my head. My head feels like parts of it are moving inside. I know it sounds as if I am losing my mind but that is how it feels. I am so scared. If I close my eyes I feel really dizzy as well with the moving inside. I was shopping yesterday and all of a sudden one side of my head felt like it had gone really hard. This brought on a major panic attack. One that I have not had for a long time. I dont know what to do. My eyes seem blurry as well. Could it be something serious??? Please, please, please help me.
