Isabella, I'm sorry to hear that you are ill. Please know the difficulty breathing is due to your bronchitis and your medication will help clear that up. Keep yourself distracted with quiet activities and practice your other coping strategies for anxiety. Also try to get plenty of rest, your body needs it to recover. Hang in there. Your anxiety is just trying to get the best of you but you can get through this. Keep close. Danielle ___________________________ The PC Support Team

Hi Isabella. I am very sorry to hear that you are so sick. I know that being sick can cause our anxiety to be even worse. I have the same fear of taking new medication. I am always so afraid that I will be allergic to it. I am now taking a steriod for my inner ear disorder and I've paniced everyday. I just have to know that they gave me this medicine to help not hurt. I am sure you have had amoxocillan before. Just try to think that you are still here after taking the pills, it's just the anxiety trying to get you down. I hope that helped a little bit. I am here for you and praying that you start to feel better. Let me know how it goes.

I haven't been able to read any posts lately or respond to anyone so I am sorry about that. I have been really sick the past four days with a fever of 103 and have been unable to eat anything. I finally went to the doctor yesterday(Monday) and they said I had an ear infection(serous otitis media) and bronchitis and prescribed me amoxicillin. Since all of this I haven't been able to care for my son, do any homework, even bathe myself. My son was sent to his Grandma's so she could take care of him while my fiance is at work. Needless to say, my anxiety is through the roof! I really feel that I am going to die because I can hardly breath and on top of that I hate taking meds and I took my first dose of the amoxicillin today and have felt horrible ever since. I fear dying and I fear an allergic reaction. I am so scared because I feel as though I can't breath and I barely have the energy to get up and use the restroom. I have called all my family to see if anyone would come and sit with me but everyone is busy and I am just really scared. I would appreciate any advice, encouragement, or kind words to help me through. My fiance is totally sick of me calling and bugging him so I figured you guys would understand how terrifying this is for me, mostly because I feel as though I can't breath very well and when I do I have chest and back pain. Prayers would be wonderful as well. Thank you.
