Hi Twisted,
I understand your fear and confusion in this situation. We all have been there!
But try to look on the bright side, maybe this is a great opportunity for you to do some exposure work. Take all the sheets with you, and monitor your fear every 5 minutes. That way, you will feel more in control. Yes, it will feel uncomfortable and horrible etc, but we MUST FACE THIS someday or another and it may as well be NOW.
You are strong. Nothing is wrong with you or any of us. We just have higher levels of anxiety and we must accept that and work through. Believe that this will get better!!!
I say you just go. I mean, you will not be driving.....at least you can work on doing some deep breathing!!
If you feel too panicky, let your uncle got off the exit and stop for a few minutes until your anxiety calms down a bit....then get right back on! Take tiny steps....there is nothing wrong with that.
WE are all here for you. Let me knwo what you think.
merry christmas if i dont' get a chance to hear from you!
