I found that when i 'upped' my dose i got the side effects but i perservered god knows how i did it at the time it was the worst feeling but after a week or so i started to feel better though my doctor at one stage wanted to up it to 150mg because i had depression i stayed on 100mg and today i am able to do most things its not easy by any means but i feel so much better than i did 6mths ago. There is hope dont ever forget that. I dont take anything other than the Zoloft(to scared to ;)) Lulu..

I have been on Zoloft for approx 6mths i started on 50mg but after a couple of mths went to 100mg i was pretty anxious to begin with but given our circumstances i think thats normal to some degree.I persevered and started to feel better after a couple of weeks.I feel almost 'normal' again but i also do CBT with a psychologist and i can say it has been a long difficult road to get from where i was to where i am now.I still have bad 'moments' as i put them now but i think if you accept that you will feel like this at times it dosnt make it as difficult to deal with.Goodluck. I am currently taking zoloft and want some opions. I need to take xanax once a day to cope with my anxiety and panic. Zoloft is supposed to help this where i dont need the xanax anymore. I have just upped my dose to 100mg and it makes my anxiety worse. Does anybody else have this problem with meds? Is this normal? I have tried Paxil, Cymbalta, and Lexapro all have made me feel out of it. Is there any advise. Is it possible that meds just wont work?
