Thanks for the reply, Josie. I took your advice and put on my headphones. I found that helped a lot. I guess I am just not used to this kind of pressure - I'm fairly new to the workforce (1.5 years working) and most of the time, my work has not been overwhelming. However, I was more worried about me not being able to handle any new stress in my life. I know now that is simply not true. I don't think I'll be able to make these deadlines, but I will do the best I can do - that's all I can do anyway. I am working through the program and am on week 4 - setting goals. I have not gotten to the relaxation part yet, but hopefully its not a fars way off. By the way - you can call me Brad. brabak108 is just a name I've been using on the 'net for a while now.

bra, Use your relaxation techniques and try and relax each and every night. This will wake you up and refresh you for the day. If the stress is too much throughout the day, you can take a break at lunch and take a walk: brisk or light. Get a head set and tune out everything but your favorite songs. This may recharge you for the rest of the day :) Have you tried the program? This program can do wonders and assist you with your Panic and teach you how to lessen it as well. Hi All, Just thought I'd rant a bit more here. Well, got back from vacation a few weeks ago to very little work at work. I'd spend much of my days doing very little. In case you are wondering, I work as an actuarial analyst (and hopefully one day an actuary,) and the work I do is very academic in nature. Lots of thinking, analyzing and math are required. Anyway, just yesterday I received an insurmountable pile of work, the likes I haven't seen in months. The deadlines are all very soon and I don't think I can handle this. I'm afraid I'm going to lose it. I really feel like just quitting now. I don't get the satisfaction and enjoyment out of my job that I used to before my bout of severe anxiety attacks. Also, I spoke with my boss about my workload and he just told me to work late and come in on weekends. That just made me even more anxious - I don't think I can handle all this pressure. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me right now?? I could really use some motivation.
