Angel,
You are no bother at all :) Let me try to answer one at a time to simply for you.
1- Experiment does imply your goal
2- You can do the "most fear" but it may take a little more time and determination to get through this one, suggest that you do this as your last goal, you will have more confidence when you have achieved 9 previous goals :)
3- One goal at a time is usually best, as you can start, concentrate and finish the goal at hand without having anything else going through your mind. This will focus your concentration.
As before there is no time limit, just be actively working on your goals one at a time.
Hope this helps,
Let me know if you need anything else,
Josie

Thanks for the information Josie. That was so sweet of you to take the time to help me. I love this website!
Just one thing though...when you refer to "experiment", do you mean my overall GOAL.....or the STEPS to reach that goal. Because my steps are in order from least fear to MOST fear. And the last step is rated 10 in terms of fear. So do you mean that i shouldn't be doing the last step that is rated 10>? I'm sorry, i dont' mean to bother you like this. I just want to make sure i'm doing this properly.
Also, should I work with one goal at a time? Or can i work on a few goals?
Angel,
That was a fantastic question! Please note that you need to work at your own pace and take your time to go through each session and goals respectively.
As far as timing goes, there is not time line to finish, but you need to be actively working at your goals. The key is to make sure that each experiment is not too hard, or too easy.
Here is an example to show you what we mean:
On a Fear Scale of 1-10 with 10 being "absolute terror" and
1 being "a little fear but not too much:
* "To Hard" means that your experiment is at a 10 (in this case
you'd be too afraid to do the experiment). Try something a little easier.
* "To Easy" means that your experiment is at a 1 (and the experiment
is a piece of cake). Try something a little more challenging.
It's great if you have 10 Goals, but remember take it easy and try not to do everything at once. Slow but steady wins the race :)
It is very important to talk about Goals, Exposure Plans
and Exposure Experiments. Please don't hesitate to ask us any questions. We are here to help you every step of the way.
Hope this helps,
Josie

Hi everyone! I just have a question. I'm a bit confused about the goal setting plan. I have a list of 10 goals. Am i supposed to make an exposure plan for ALL of these goals or just some? And when am i supposed to finish doing this exposure work? Is their a time line? Like If i have a goal....should i do step 1 through 10 in a matter of one week.......OR, should i do just step 1. See i'm sort of confused here. Plz let me know what i'm supposed to do so i can get started here. thanks so much. It just seems so overwhelming to have to reach 10 goals in a matter of time. Thanks!
