Hi LibraMan,

It sounds like you are conflicted. On the one hand, you realize you are drinking a dangerous amount and you are already seeing the implications on your health at a young age. On the other hand, you don't want to change and you feel really passionate about alcohol. It is understandable that it would be hard to be motivated when you feel that way. For many people, they do not change until they are ready to change. For many people, they do not change until they see direct consequences of their drinking that scares them. I encourage you to keep thinking about your drinking and evaluating the right choice for you. The more you think about and the more you work with professionals the more likely you will make a choice that is right for you.

In the mean time we are to listen and help you work through your thoughts.

Try to go to an open discussion meeting of AA and see if you can identify with the shares. Also you can grab a book Alcoholics Anonymous while you are there or you can read the book online at AA.org. The story of the co-founder is at the beginning, you can read that too and see if you can relate and see if the program work for you.

At the point now where Im making quads, and drinking tequila from the bottle at noon for no reason other then why not. Idk people are kinda consurned but i have no modivation to change my habbits. While ago I was making myself throw up before id go to bed to reduce the hangover but Hangovers are the lest of my worry now and tbh i dont even get them anymore. Takes prop 15-20oz to give me any kind of hangover. I have already been diagnosed with a fatty liver at 19. I consume anyware between 40-50oz a week which is getting expencive to maintain almost $300 every week or two. Going to a psych tmrw and my doc recomends i see more professional help. Idk kinda ****ed up rn writing this 12 oz in 2hours. Idk what else to say really im also ver pationate about alcohol i know the history behind it even took a course at TIB for bartending. If somebody asks me anoud alcohol they probably would be able to make me shut up with all this **** i know about it. I love mixing drinks and hosting parties and idk if im ready to change that part of me as its all i really know how to do.
