Welcome to the site. What an absolutely wonderful age your children are at right now. I remember those days so well and miss them terribly. And that's what is so important...to remember these fleeting times. The chubby kissable cheeks, the many firsts and how easy it is to make them happy. All they want is you. But you really can't be you if your brain is slowly fogging in as you drink your evening away. You won't remember all the special nuances of your babies growing up if you're in a constant state of inebriation each night. By the time story time rolls around you may even be slurring your words. As you kiss your little ones good night they will make the association of stale beer breath with mommy. Think about how your own memories are affected when you're exposed to certain fragrances or odors. I still think of my own mother whenever I smell peppermint. Suzanne, I am so happy that you are reaching out now. You can change your walk before the path becomes too well worn and give your babies the best gift ever. You can give them you.
hello I am a sahm mom of two boys (4 & 1). They are very active and busy little boys that keep me on my toes. I have a tendency to wait until five so I can start making dinner and drinking. I drink about 5 to 6 beers a night. I try not to sometimes but it's hard as my husband drinks too a d if he is I want to drink to. Some nights I am sucessful in not drinking and rehydrate wth water...
