Itchiness

Hi Ang,

Going to the Doctor for symptoms like this is important. I know it can be incredibly scary but getting proper treatment for whatever you are experiencing is essential. Keep us updated on how you are doing.

Hi Ang,

Welcome to the site. I did have what you describe many years ago. It turned out to be the water. There was too much chlorine in it. If you swim in a fresh water lake you can also get the itchiness. When you swim, make sure you shower afterwards.

I would suggest getting a good filter to remove the chemicals from your water. Should you decide on a reverse osmosis system you'll need to adjust the drinking water to make it alkaline. You can either purchase it with your system or just add a half teaspoon of baking soda to two liters of water. It is also a good idea to use a good moisturizer after bathing.

Hope this helps.

hi im new to this forum but thank you for any help you can give me. I am a binge drinker and have been for many years. I am 33 now and started drinking heavier around 25. I drnk around  once amonth and usually th binges last 2-3 days. The past year or 2 they have been more infrequent and don't last as long. I am going to stop drinking ask think it is having adverse affects on my health. My question is I have been having really itchy skin all over my body with no rash or any sign of skin irritation. This started about a month ago and I was not coming off alcohol when it started. I though it would go away by now. I have had my liver enzymes checked about 3 months ago and just recently had an ultra sound of my pancreas, liver and gallbladder. I'm really scared this is something serious but also scared to go to the dr.'s. I am going to be doing a cleanse soon to see if it helps but has anyone experienced this?
