That's fantastic! Congratulations on getting to four years sober.

Could you share a bit of your wisdom for us newbies (50 days for me tomorrow)? What is the most important thing that got you this far? What do you do to fill that social void from when your drinking?

Thanks!

I haven't been this forum for a very long time but wanted to check in and encourage everyone to keep up the hard work. Next week will be 4 years that I decided to give up alcohol. I had tried moderation but for me that didn't work so I made a choice to take it out of my life. I am so thankful I made that decision. Even after 4 years I still work at it. This thanksgiving I thought of how nice it would be have a drink but It just isn't worth it. The power alcohol had over my thinking and my life is gone. all to best to everyone - just try your best and don't be hard on yourself.
