Welcome,

When posting in the forums you can likely meet many buddies. I recommend checking in often.

How are you doing today? What steps have you taken to move towards your goal? If you have not yet taken steps what do you think is holding you back?

Hi Mandeville,

Welcome to the site. There isn't an online buddy system set up here so your best bet is to post on the forum.  What will find here though is the single most important thing to resolving this challenge: acceptance and support. We can understand, appreciate and empathize with your current problem in our own way and you'll find plenty of support and positive feedback to help you resolve this challenge. We're going through the same thing. That being said, I sincerely hope you do post again because you've taken an incredibly brave and important step in moving forward and that is posting here and reaching out. Maybe you can share a bit more about your goals and challenges?

All the best and hope to hear form you,

Dave

I thought I read somewhere that you could get an online buddy for support.  That is what I need.  I am new to this, but old to drinking and I need the equivalent to an online sponsor, if that is possible.  Or should I just read the posts in the forum?  I am still drinking, but desperately trying to quit.  Just have not been able to.
