Beautiful to hear!

Sounds like you are doing amaxing and starting to really feel the rewards of abstaining. If you are feeling this good now you have a lot to look forward to.

Keep us updated on how you are doing. You are an inspiration.

Hi Sarah,

Way to go on 29 days of freedom! Your AF experiences will certainly motivate others to emulate you. Keep up your brisk pace and continue to share your success. It helps to inspire the rest of us to know that it can be done.

Walk on!

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for posting your experience. It is a very welcome and positive message! I feel the same way and I was thinking the same thing this morning. I went for a bicycle ride and I'm enjoying this beautiful sunny day and I thought "I'm so happy right now". I realize I couldn't be happy or experience this if I was "recovering" from the night before, or even days before. There is so much to look forward to when you can enjoy the full experience of the day without being dulled by the effects of alcohol (or any other drugs for the matter).

You're doing amazing Sarah! Keep that attitude going because it only gets better. Totally impressed with your progress. Well done!

Best regards,

Dave

Wow. Just Wow. Never thought I would get to this point. I know this battle isn't won - not by any stretch of my imagination, but I'm feeling so good about it at this point anyway. My urges get better and better each day. Tomorrow will be 30 days without a drink. So many positive things are coming out of this change. I feel better. I'm enjoying my kids and my husband more. My husband is seeing the positive changes and beginning to make some himself. He told me last night - you seem to "glow", you seem so much happier. He is so right. Here's to keeping this going and finally breaking the cycle!!
