Hi everyone :)

Hopefulsarah i wish you all the best this weekend :) I am on day 18 . I am loving the fact that i am waking up feeling gross . It us so nice . It is tough when everyone around you isdrinking. My friends offer me drinks and even in the past when I said i wasnt drinking they still pushed. although they dont have to go throuhg what i go through the next morning espcially since i am not the best drunk. so now that I am waking up feeling better it inspires me more to say no. I am routing for you and everyone here :) congrats to you all

Hi Cath,

It takes about one month for liver enzymes to return to normal after binge drinking. However, it certainly can take longer, up to three months if you are a heavier drinker.

It is a slippery one for sure.. Imagine how proud you would feel on Monday when you don't drink all weekend...

Thanks Barb!! I'm rooting for you too! Cath - I don't know - that tends to be a very slippery slope for me! I really DON'T want to drink this weekend and I'm truly hoping I can stick to that and feel really good on Monday!

Does anyone know how long it takes for the liver enzymes to go back to normal after you have been drinking?

I can totally relate to you and Im only on day one, but I have been on day 6 many times and then BAM, A gathering and Im not on day anything again..  Good for you.  I think you should celebrate what you have done so far and maybe a family gathering with a drink will be OK cause you will be mindful of your 6 days you already did and don't want to trash it altogether.
