I got a nap and feel much better now! As I have mentioned before, I was very ashamed of my drinking and made every attempt to keep it hidden from most everybody.  However, I made a decision today to inform my doctor. I was so scared she would be angry or ridicule me. I was so wrong. She allowed me to vent for what seemed like forever. She ask me lots of questions, and gave such support. She is going to see me monthly for a few months just to monitor me and such. Lastly, she gave me her home number!!! My doctor is the first person I've told outside my home and you guys. And I felt she needed to be aware since she takes care of me. My thoughts on it were if I'm going to get better and healthy, I need to make sure I'm both in every aspect of my life (emotionally, physically and medically).  I left her office feeling as if a load had been lifted. I might add, I've lost 13 pounds!!!! I'm more committed to getting healthy than ever. 

We are all in this together. I can recall my first week AF. I thought I was going to fall apart. Now, I'm still taking it a day at a time and so thankful I made the decision I did. I choose life. Please know I believe in each of you. And I thank God for the support and testimonies on here. Blessings to each of you!

I've been off the grid for a little bit. Wanted to welcome new members!!! Today makes 30 days for me!!!!! In a little while, I am going to post on a very important topic. I just gotta get a nap first. Exhausted!!! Blessing to you all!!

Zoey,
The first thing you want to do is a simple an routine right after you wake up. You want to incorporate leg lifts and sit ups with your legs up on a chair with you on the floor. Also do leg climbs where you walk up your legs. As far as diet I have used Haylie Pomroy 28 day diet with very good success. It has an app that makes it easier to follow.

Zoey,
I noticed that Dave posted an email on his blog for correspondence.  Would you be comfortable in communicating via email about diet/exercise?  I don't want to take away the focus of this wonderful support group.  I set up a seperate email when I joined this site and would be happy to post that on my blog.  If you are comfortable with that let me know, if not I completely understand.
