Thanks Vickers, You are right the nerves are eating up my tummy, hopefully it will pass soon. How are you doing ? I hope you are well and feeling good. God bless you, Debbie.

Hey Debbie! I know that when I took Paxil, my stomach always hurt - especially in the mornings. I think that is certainly part of it. I also think that a lot of your stomach problems are coming from nerves in general. When we get nervous, our stomach acid churns up causing tummy aches and gas. It could be that you're not eating much either. Maybe you're hungry and what you are eating isn't enough to satisfy it? Eat bland things for a day or two and slowly work up to eating regularly and see if that helps. I noticed that whenever I have a huge problem I can usually handle it better than I do panic / anxiety. It's funny how we have such a hard time with irrational fears but when the real thing comes along, we act like it's no big deal. ;p

I am still taking the Paxil, I wanted to ask Vickers and everyone how they felt at first, I took this 4 years ago and it was different. The main problem is the constant nausea and stomach pain, I have no appetite and my stomach seems to burn up top and cramp on the bottom, all I have been eating is toast, dry noodles, and lots of milk and water, when this happens it makes me very anxious, I can take the sweating and headachy feeling, but this stomach thing is really bad, I feel very weak from not eating, I do not know if its nerves about my son having strep throat or my husbands new job or the Paxil, I SO want to feel better and do not want to stop it, when I do eat my tummy just "gurgles and gurgles" you can hear it across the room its embarssing, I feel achy, like I have a virus or flu and very tired, has anyone ever experienced this with Paxil?? I hope this goes away it makes it hard to continue, the anxiety seems better today {thank you all for your prayers} the depression is pretty bad through but I am fighting it, I may go back to Zoloft if this continues, Zoloft was good for my depression bad for anxiety and Paxil seems to be better for anxiety but increasing my depression, does that make sense?? I wish I could combine both of their good properties, we have a hurricane coming Friday in Florida, and the strange thing is I am NOT scared, the panic, pain and depression have been so bad I feel like I looked the devil in the eye or something, everyone else is scared, I am more scared of the way I feel, I want so much for the side effects to ease and some relief, I am trying to help the meds along by trying to be positive. God bless everyone, Debbie.
