AWWWW

I loved this video Ashley! The music makes it that much more inspiring and photos are always so pleasant to look at. People of all different sizes, genders, races....etc It was really beautiful and it makes me want to be a better person and achieve more!

Note to self: find a motivational video to add to my profile! I will get on that!

Me too!  I just added one that makes me laugh - I love dachshunds.

It's true you never know how your words may impact someone.  When my sister was in high school she befriended a tall girl who was pretty gawky during adolescence.  Sis has always been very outgoing and inclusive and was just out there being herself and doing what came naturally to her.  Decades later the girl told my sister that at the time she was feeling some serious desperation and had decided to end her life until sis had a little something warm to say to her at school one day.  This gave her a glimmer of hope that someone did care about her and she changed her mind about committing suicide.  So we just never know where we may be in position to do some serious good simply by being ourselves.  Food for thought.

A friend at work and I have spotted someone who needs befriending.  After a serious accident a fourth of her brain was removed and although she admittedly comes across as being a little dotty at times, it's a miracle the woman can function at all, let alone do the kind of job she has.  We have observed some insensitive people not treating this girl very well and we plan to set an example by including her and being friendly.  Hopefully it will catch on with others.  It's the least we can do for someone who had to learn how to do EVERYTHING all over again after her serious head injury.  Accidents can happen to any of us at any moment.  This girl doesn't seem to feel sorry for herself in any way but she is still in serious need of some compassion.

Hi Ashley, I really liked your video...you "inspired" me to go searching and found one of my own. I managed to get the hang of this blog thing, kind of tricky to find it but when you are on the main forum page, you'll see Launch my blog right a bove all the forum threads, if you click that it's really easy.

There are so many videos out there, especially on youtube, they're fun to watch and can even put you in a good mood if you're feeling down...

Hi members,

I have uploaded a new video to my profile.  I thought it was very powerful and thought you might like to take a look.  I discuss the video in my blog also.  What do you think about the video?

We have discussed how the blog feature is great for journalling. Another way to use your blog is to upload videos then discuss why the video is interesting or important to you.  So start blogging!
