Relapse!!

Sorry to hear about your slip.

It sounds like it wasn't a relapse though, as you are still not smoking regularly and your head is still in the game.

Nice job on learning a lesson and moving on. How has it been since your slip? Have you noticed an increase in cravings?

Hey Steveo88,
Dag nab it! I was hoping you were going to make it stick this time. I hope your son is not too disappointed with you. You are going to try and quit again aren't you???  At least you learned another lesson. "Keep your guard up". At all times. Next time you are offered a smoke, it's okay to JUST SAY NO!
Stay strong.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

I was doing so well. Maybe got overconfident and thought I'd beaten it. I had a cigarette. It tasted vile but I smoked it anyway despite the coughing and lightheaded feeling. Just like the first one all those years ago. The stupid thing was that I'd walked up hill and down dale on southwest coast path for about 12 miles and felt great. Then stopped for a chat and was offered a smoke. Really dumb to take it but I did. A lesson was learned. Keep your guard up. 12 miles of walking that would have left me fighting for breath a when I smoked. I prefer the non smoking life!!!
