Congratulations on getting started on your final quit!

I am glad to hear you have past experience quitting as all that learning will help you now. Knowing your triggers and planning for them is so important to a successful quit. Stress, seeing one and drinking are all very common triggers. For drinking, I encourage you to avoid alcohol for the first few days or even weeks and months. Drink only when you feel confident enough to do so.

When it comes to stress, what will you be doing to cope with stress? What new skills will you practice?

When seeing a cigarette, what will your plan be? I encourage you to check out the Emergency Coping plan as a resource.

And lastly, how are you doing?! How is your quit going?

I am going to start my last quit.  I am 50 now and have smoked off an on.  On for the last 6 years.  I am down to about 6 a day and want desperately to be here for my family.  Having breathing issues, and that in itself doesn't keep me quit.  I have quit like 5 times already this year alone.  I have put together the plan on the site.  I am open to everyones stories.  Same things gets me back every time.  Drinking, seeing one, and stress.
Thank You
