Hi CariAz, I have not heard of this before so I searched the net and found this study about elevated white blood cell counts for smokers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4995538/ Hope the link works for you. Not One Puff Ever

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has ever been told by their Doctor that they have elevated red & white blood cells? I recently quit because I’m so scared. Hope after quitting that they go back to normal! If anyone has k owledge of this would so appreciate a response.
