Quit smoking.. DAY 3

7 years ago 0 3 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hang in there! From what I remember, Day 3 is the worst day. Everyone always said "It's all downhill from here."

I won't lie. It's hard. It's a life change and your body is going to do some crazy things...but it will all go back to normal again.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

My name is Meagan I quit smoking on 04/05.. A little of my background I have smoked since I was 13 I am now 27 years old. I was smoking 1 pack a day. I am getting plastic surgery done and this is the main reason why I have to quit (2 weeks before and 1 week following) But one of the days I was cutting back before my actual quit day I saw a lady standing with an oxygen tank while her husband was walking around with his kids and enjoying their time. This made my stomach hurt and i don't want this to be me..... so i decided i will go as long as i can without smoking. following surgery I have two children and they should be my reason for quitting. Wanting them to have their mommy forever... But honestly like most smokers know the mind games play into that. I start thinking "yeah but your crabby and they would have more fun with you if you weren't crabby" just have one...... I am only on day three today and i am so stressed i could cry. Literally have twice already. I need a hug and reassurance this will get easier.. Its summer so its easy for me to get out with the kids and do things but i feel like the worlds worst mom when i am aggravated about quitting and i am mean to my kiddos. HELP. Tomorrow is my first day of being home by myself after quitting with my kids and i know it is going to be a rough day.....
