This time I will conquer

Hey there MoonMan, I quit cold turkey a few years back.

A positive attitude & probably most important of all....  knowledge of your nicotine addiction will help you through the withdrawal period.

As you may already know, smoking / chewing (whatever your vice) is a method of feeding your nicotine withdrawal. Every smoker craves release. Smoking is not a habit, it does not make you relax & it does not make you feel good....... something you will understand with time.

Quitting is not plain sailing, there will be setbacks & triggers. It's a journey that requires coping mechanisms to get you through. Attitude & self worth is very important....

I found walking away from negative / stressfull situations & people very helpful. Something i now apply to my everyday life.
All the best

My mind is right, my spirit does not want anymore. I have joined a stop smoking forum for the first time. I have a quit date. I am a winner and this time victory is mine.
