Hi Titedent,

Congrats on getting through it! What did you learn from the experience?

For tips,  encourage you to complete the entire program, also be sure to check out the Emergency Coping plan. Use the keyword search and skim the forums - we have lots of great information on this site.

How are you doing today?

Hi Titedent,
I bet it was a VERY long weekend for you too.  You stayed strong and have been smoke free for 38 days now. Awesome!!!
You deserve a nice reward for your efforts. Do you realize that you have added 3 days to your life now by not smoking?
Were you tempted at all on your trip?
Keep us posted on your progress, and stay strong.

Hi,

It's been 4 weeks since I quit.  It's going well even though my husband is still smoking.  I am a little apprehensive because this week end we're going for the long week end in visit to a friend's house (6hrs drive).  We will be stopping a few time in rest area during the trip.  I know my husband will smoke during the stops (because we don't smoke in the car).

My friend's husband smoke too so they will be going in the garage for their smoke and I am afraid i will have a hard, time since weather will be nice, to not go outside with them.

What are your tips to avoid temptations?  I want to stay strong but I know other people will smoke around me this week end and I want to make sure I don't fall back on the dark side!!

Thanks
