Hi lynn sorry that you have been given this to deal with as well i just wanted you to know you are not alone i found a lump in my breast when i was just 19 and i had a biopsy and it was a benign tumour i couldve had it taken out but chose not to and it dissapeared after a while.Hopefully thats all you will have too but i know how scary it can be and rest assured if its more than that you are not alone my prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with so much right now Lynn! I hope and pray that they are able to help you if anything is wrong!! My grandmother had breast cancer two years ago. She is in her 80's and she had this lump for a few years and didn't tell anyone. They did have to take one of her breasts to save her life but they also did plastic surgery at the same time to create a fake breast. My aunt took her to get a nipple tattooed on the fake breast to help her self esteem as well. They did a very good job at it. She is alive and doing well. I know that you are concerned because your friend also died from the same thing. But please know that you are different people. Although these two situations are similar, they are not exact. They never are. Cancer is not a death sentence anymore. There is hope!! Her fate is not your fate. Hang in there and let us know how it goes.
