Gratz on 1 year mark. I am new to forum and only a few days over 1 month smoke free and it's feel like its been forever. I can't imagine what it feels like to reach one year and go 365 days straight then continue past that. The determination you must have to reach this day then continue on. Within the past year I have turned into a health freak. I given up many things, nail biting, smoking pot, etc. I even took it to another level and extreme and stopped driving my car. All I can truly say is out of all the things I have given up and I left behind, smoking is the hardest. Only 4 things crosses my mind now a days school, money, jogging/running and lastly smoking. Although I know I will never smoke again, it still crosses my mind. I think about it, I want it, I love it, and I miss it, but I know it will crush me if I touch it!
Congratulations!!! I am so proud of you! You have fought for your freedom for well over 3 years! You kept faith in yourself that you COULD do this and and you never quit quitting! Now, you have been free for one year and it is definitely time to celebrate! I will be lifting my glass to you today, buddy! CLINK!!!
Machiavelli congratulations on your one year as a non smoker. This is one celebration I've been waiting for. You are an example to the whole SSC community. You never quit trying and look at you now. Be proud of yourself as we are of you. Excellent for you young man ! breather Don
Machiavelli's quit meter just rolled onto 365 days!
Last year at this time, I didn't think he was going to make it more than a few weeks. But he's one tough quitter, who kept coming back until he got it right. Congratulations, Mach! You deserve it!
