Thank you all for your super responses.

Ashley – rewards are SO IMPORTANT at the beginning and during the first 2 years of your quit, but I don’t feel the need any more. Every day is a celebration now – I am so relieved to be free and I am thankful every day to this site for getting me through the bad bits.

The best decision I ever made.

I mentioned my 10 year quit to friends this morning and they did not find it noteworthy. I smile to myself knowing that only a smoker/ex-smoker understands the significance of what it is to be free of this addiction.
