For all you newer quitters - here's to say YOU CAN do this ..one day, one hour at  a time. It is amazing to be a non smoker!!!

Jim , isn't it hard to believe where 5 New Year's have gone ? Especially in the early days of the quit when we were just trying to make it through another day that seemed like it took an eternity to end. It looks like sometime this year you'll have one year of life gained in " the bank". Can we put a price on that ? I don't think so ? Priceless for you ! breather Don

Great looking stats this great new year, my friends!  I feel so fortunate to have celebrated my 5th smoke-free New Years and I will be 5 years quit in March!  Priceless, indeed!

I do love those round numbers breather!   and Thanks for the 2 year premonition - I love it!  I think you're right - I've been through a lot of firsts without my 'buddies' to help me through and am now beginning to feel authentic as a non smoker. In the beginning of my quit, there were times I felt like an imposter in danger of falling off the wagon at any time.  But now I've reached a new calm.  As I strive to set new, better goals for my life, I often forget that I ever smoked.  It takes time but feels great when we reach each new milestone!  I am also amazed at how many cigarettes we ingest thoughtlessly when we are smokers. The stats show what might have been had we not come to our senses!  Gotta love that reinforcement : )
Thanks for the support too Willis - we're on the brink of our 2 year quit milestones now!  I am so glad we stuck with it and learned about NOPE!

Eyja   Don't you just love it when the numbers match up. When I log in to see the quit meter I can't believe it sometimes. If your quit is anything like mine this should be your year. At around two years smober it seemed like the weight that was crushing me was finally lifted off. I like to see those priceless extra months of life gained add up ( might need them sometime )  Like Impala Dave says " choose life.......better benefits. Happy 2013. Priceless for you. breather

Bringing up the rear compared to you guys with your amazing stats!  Congratulation to you both for sticking to it and maintaining your quits to date!  What you have gained from this is priceless!  Yuo got that right breather!
I am liking my stats due to the nice round figures involved - on New Year's Day I will have 700 days under my belt and 7000 cigarettes NOT smoked!
