Ditto on that! It's so great to read about everyone's successes, small and big.  It's very motivating to stay on track.  I'm not nicotine free yet but I am smoke free.  Boy does food ever taste great and I'm smelling things very well, including the not so good smells . . . oh well.  I'm down to 26 mg. NRT gum and I started 1 1/2 months ago at 44 mg.  In another 13 weeks I'll be at zero.  It's a bit of a masochistic prolonged withdrawal but I don't think I'm up to the cold turkey, as much as I'd like to get it over with.  I'm going to keep plugging away, down another 2mg. this coming Saturday.  So far so good, I haven't cheated with any extra gums and although I crave the nicotine, I have no desire at all to smoke. I think I'm going to have to change at least one of my rewards, frapuccinos at Starbucks, to something more calorie conscious.  The mani/pedi sounds like a great alternative!

Great JOB Alexa!
I can still remember the first week and then first month when I quit. I was so happy to celebrate 1 Day and 2 Days...lol  YOU ARE DOING GREAT!  This IS the place to be if you are a QUIT! I started when I first quit here and to be honest I don't think I could have done it with out all the support from all my Non-smoking friends here!  I had to write on here EVERYDAY!  It was TO HARD...so keep up the GREAT WORK!  and don't forget to REWARD YOURSELF!  YOU DESERVE IT!

Isn't it nice to be able to smell things and actually taste the food? I LOVE IT!

Thank you guys! This weekend was tough for some reason-the cravings were really bugging me...but I got through it. I took myself out for a mani and pedi to celebrate my month smoke free

Excellent for you Alexa!  You are doing great and have made huge progress to get here!  Now you just need a bit of vigilance to keep an eye out for those rogue cravings out of the blue (they get further and further apart from here on in : )  and remember that NOPE Works!  I hope you have a nice reward planned for yourself to commemorate your awesome achievement
