I'm glad you started the program! It is so full of info and teaches you so much to help yourself get through. I seriously wish I had found something like this 12 years ago when this came back for me! Just keep working at it and on those days that this thing knocks you on your rear, remember that we are here for you and understand exactly what you're going through every single day. ;) Hang in there - I know we can do this!

hello, thank u for ur words of encouragement. i started the program yesterday. i feel much better today but partly that was cos i was making a conscious effort today to retrain my thoughts from negative to positive. my fiance had a good conversation with me today which really made me feel great. i am starting to get my confidence back. a little is more precious to me right now than the entire thing. anyway, here's to us beating this demon together. take care, hannah

Hey Hannah! I had this problem when I was a teenager. My sisters used to tease me because every night I had to know if I looked healthy because I was so terrified of dying. It was really bad. One day I decided I had enough and I made myself stop. It took a lot of time and determination and a strength that I seemed to have lost but am starting to find again - finally. It went away completely for about 10 years and then one day after I was married and had children, it came back with a nasty vengeance! I have now been suffering from it for about 12 years. I took Paxil 7 of those years and ended that nightmare about 6 months ago. I am determined to beat this monster if I have to use a crowbar to pry it off my back! I am so grateful for finding this website because I have learned so much here and feel so much better knowing that I am not alone and that I am not insane, like I thought I was. I started the Panic Program (free 12 week course in CBT) and have noticed a difference already. I got into week six and slacked off so I started over two weeks ago. I know with all my heart that the answer lies within us. I know that we all have it within ourselves to beat this - I know it. We can do this - I promise! Hang in there! You are not alone!

Hannah, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! hi, i am new.just diagnosed four days back with depression and anxiety disorder.at the beginning of the year, my career was not doing well and i actually started a way of facing my fears. needless to say it was what the panic program describes as CBT. is what i was doing. after a particular setback in mid april. i just kinda lost it. and then i knew i needed help. that's when i went to the doc. this retraining of thoughts is very difficult but can someone tell me if they truly overcome this. i had before april and felt really good abt myself. i just need reassurance that it can happen again. don't want to be like this for the rest of my life.thanks in advance for listening.
