We've been celebrating right along so haven't done anything in particular to celebrate our quit anniversary. To be quite honest, we don't even think about it. I was filling out a form at a doctors office when it asked me how long ago I quit. That is what sparked a reminder and brought me back in here.

Sue and I are doing well, still struggling with weight though so we just went out and bought a juicer.  We are not going to go on a crazy juicefast but we do plan to have one or 2 meals a day to be just from juicing.

We saw this documentary on www.hulu.com called "Sick Fat and Nearly Dead" it was very inspiring so now we are going to juice, fruit and vegetables regularly.

Got my garden going good this year and will be eating a lot from there as well.

Take care all!

Hey John and Sue!!!

Huge congratulations to both of you on such a monumental occasion!!!  Both of you have been great supporters of your fellow quit buddies here over the years!  I hope your rewards do include smoking this weekend.... chicken and ribs, that is!!!  This sounds like a great reason to celebrate all weekend long!    I think that I will do some celebrating with y'all!!!

              CLINK!!!

Hi John & Sue,

I'm so happy to be the first to congratulate you and wish you well.

I remember when you first quit, and how committed you were.  You were here on the boards gaining and giving support.  It's good to know you are still smoke-free...that was never in doubt I think!

Hope you reward yourselves!  5 Years is a biggie!

Love Lolly.
