Day 1

Hey Jenny!

Hang in there!!  Hell Week is just that!  Just take it one one minute, one hour and one day at a time!  Oh, and remember, a crave, no matter how strong or hard will NOT kill you... smoking will!

One last thing... set small, attainable goals for yourself and be sure to reward your self for accomplishments!  This will help keep the pleasure centers in your brain happy!!!

What I have done different this time is I started waiting a hour for more morning smoke. I also have lots of healthy snacks in the cupboard and fridge. I have been pre paring for this for about a month now.

Welcome Jennydls,

Congratulations on starting your quit! Having support at home will be very helpful to you so this is good news!

What else is different about this quit? What will be the same as past quits? How have you prepared and what do you still need to prepare?

Hey Jenny!

Welcome back!!!  I'm glad to hear that you didn't give up on quitting!!!  Stick close, read and post, and review your milestones in the Program.  That may help with your preparation and help to get your head into the game, so to speak.  Strap on that Positive Mental Attitude, think N.O.P.E. and keep telling yourself that this IS going to be your final quit!  We're all rooting for you!!!
