Hey Kristen!!!

I'm glad to see that you are hopping back up on that proverbial horse once again!   You have already made that first step at your start by posting and you can bet that all your smoke buddies will be her to help you along the way!  Another starting place is right here in the Program... review it!  Especially the part where you go through the process of why you really want to quit!  Write it down and seriously think about it!  And then ask yourself if you really want this quit more than you want to smoke.  And then you have to set your date, prepare and psych yourself up for your FINAL quit!   I was so ready to quit by my quit day I just knew that nothing was going to stop me!

There are still the whole slew of NRT's and other medications out there in the world if that is what you feel it will take to to be successful!!!  Discuss everything with your  doctor, get the scripts you need and go for it!  Then, like you did in the past, hang out here and get your freedom back!

Sure, you will have your ups and downs, just like before, but like before, you did it!  This time, though, you'll know that you have to live by NOPE, right???

Have a great weekend and follow those 6-P's!!!  We'll be here on quit day!!!

Hello KristenW88,

I am sorry to hear that you've had a relapse, it's important to go back to a full quit attempt now or you may slide back into your previous smoking pattern over time. Rememeber how far you have come and the success you've had previously. Prepare yourself to get right back into the swing of things. Take a hold of this and know we are here for you.

All the best,

Kristen,
It's just like you did before. Start out one day at a time.  The first week is hell but you did this before and you can do it again. What did you do last time that got you through the first week?
I know you can do it, keep posting when things gets rough.  We can help you though this.  As they say keep coming back, it works!
