Thank you tim.  Today is the day i wanted to quit and just have one.  Can you believe it?  Two weeks.... (with a major backlash) and now 2 days on the wagon again where i dont smoke.  I will think of this everytime that horrible craving comes.

Now, isn't that the truth? A craving or thought or desire to smoke is only that..and like smoke, it evaporates after a bit...Poof!...gone....and if not acted upon it not only doesnt do any damage, it actually helps. Each time we don't act on it, it cements our smokeless status.

How wonderful!

Congratulations on 2 years smoke-free, a wonderful accomplishment and great sense of freedom I'm sure!
Thanks for your post.  Am wondering what has been some other significant motivators for you in overcoming cravings you've had in the past?

I just moved in to my second year of being smoke free and the biggest motivator I have now is the TRUE knowledge that a craving is like any other emotion we experience as a human.   It will pass and turn into something else.
The longer you go the less and less intense they become.
Although I will always keep my guard up, I could care less about cigarettes now.
Free yourself..

Thank you StopSmokingCenter and my friends who have helped me along the way.
