You fixed the Canada thing!!!!!

Virginia is beautiful too.  And good for you for losing so much weight!  I just found out today that I'm 5 pounds down.  More to go.

Go have fun and sing your lungs out.  They are so happy with you that I'm sure they want to sing.  Mine are happy too but I confine it to the inside of my car.  That way I keep everyone else happy too.

xo!

Thank you everyone. I'm thinking about getting into some bars that do karaoke night or something like that and since i've lost to much weight, a sweater that i bought last year during the winter is now kinda to big on me. Surprised me when i put it on this morning!

I'm so glad you guys are singing!  I can't hold a tune to save my life, but my voice is much stronger when I have to do speaking engagements.  I don't cough anymore.  That's a huge thing.

All of the kids in our family are musical, and they all (32 grandkids!) are booked for musical gigs.  I just enjoy listening.  I'm so glad that you both have that gift too!  By the way-- I'm not the grandma-- just the mom (2 of my own) and auntie to all of these kids.

I am a fan from afar.  Since I don't have that gift but most in the family do, I can really appreciate you both getting that back.  I wish I could hear you both.

I do hear what it means to you though.

xo!!!!!

You're looking beautiful lately via that avatar of yours Kristen!  I'm so glad you got your singing voice back; isn't that an (almost) unexpected perk? I picked up my guitar recently, after a long hiatus, and have been writing songs and singing away too, since I quit smoking.  My voice is almost back but I'm older than you so it's taking time!  But still it's much better than when I smoked!  I sure wish I could hear your lovely new pipes; I hope you find a venue where you can share your talent.  We're all very proud of you here at SSC for your great attitude. Congrats on your continuing successful NOPE quit!  Eyja

Hello KristenW88,

Thank you so much for the update, glad to hear you are doing well and staying smoke-free!
Keep working hard and checking in often! Great to hear about your singing voice, if you've got a nice voice use it! Music is a huge gift!

Just wanted to see how everyone was doing and report that it's been 6 weeks today that i put down smoking and i couldn't be happier. I have to admit these past few days i've been a royal *Bleep* but i wouldn't pick up smoking again for anything. I'm healthier, i got my singing voice back and it's so good to be able to express myself through song.
